Several members of the Kansas NG911 team hard at work testing the ESInet at the Yoder Test and Evaluation Site.
Ottawa and Saline County are the first two PSAPs to be migrated to the ESInet in 2019.
2018 was a very busy year with the Kansas hosted system deployments.
91 Sites were turned up since the first deployment in 2015 on the hosted call handling platforms (included PSAP’s, Yoder Test Center and 2 backup PSAP’s)
56 Sites were converted from legacy 911 Tandem switching to Next Generation ESInet intelligent switching (all done in 2018). Work is being done to convert to Geospatial call routing in 2019. More information to be provided on this as it becomes available.
May 1st, 2018 members of the Kansas 911 Coordinating Council and their partners at the KBI Facility on the Washburn Campus. Thanks everyone for a successful workshop discussing the roadmap for the next year!
